Marvel at the grandeur of the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the impressive structure of his son Chephren, and the splendid pyramid of his grandson Mycerinus. You'll also have the opportunity to take a camel ride around the pyramids and capture stunning photos of this iconic landmark.
We'll then visit the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx, where you'll learn about the ancient rituals of mummification and the significance of the man-headed lion statue. Afterward, we'll enjoy a scrumptious lunch at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the pyramids.
Next, we'll head to the Saqqara necropolis to witness the first-ever stone pyramid, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, built by the brilliant architect Imhotep. You'll also have the chance to explore the tomb of Kagemni, one of the nobles of the 6th dynasty, with its remarkable collection of animals and offering scenes in vivid colors.
We'll then visit the open-air museum of Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, where you can admire the artifacts and statues of the great King Ramses II and the stunning alabaster sphinx of Memphis.
At the end of the day, we'll take you back to your hotel, where you can reflect on the incredible sights and experiences of our Cairo trip.
